I found this photo in my archives. It was shot with an old Kinax Senior camera that I have. This was from a first test run with the camera (which dates from 1950) and was the only decent photo on the entire film.
It’s very hard to shoot with some of these old cameras and the Kinax is no exception. The viewfinder is incredibly primitive and the controls are not only cryptic (the focus ring measures distance in feet) but fairly primitive and unstable. More than one shot was ruined thanks to the shutter triggering early.
The trip was well worth it and I hope to shoot some more with this incredible camera in the future.
